Be assured a copy of
your message is being provided to the Mayor and Members of the City Council so they may have the benefit of your
opinion.
Mary Lu Campbell
Executive Assistant
City of Pleasanton
P.O. box 520
Pleasanton, CA 94566 -0802
From: M -I
Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2609 10:54 AM
To: Mayor and City Council List
Subject: Building the Stoneridge Drive Extension
To Mayor And City Council,
I am Strongly opposed to building the Stoneridge Drive Extension until the 2025
Regional Traffic improvements are in place or at least funded and scheduled
to be completed.
For most of us who lire along Stoneridge the price
will be incredibly high in the LOSS of Quality of Life. Our quiet area
will become a freeway bypass and our air quality will certainly be
detrimentally affected. The noise, traffic, and crime within Pleasanton as
a whole, are all certain to go up once Stoneridge Drive is extended to El harro.
All residents throughout Pleasanton will be paying the price to
help Regional traffic ! The Triangle Traffic Study shovers that TRAFFIC GETS
WORSE - not better; if the Stoneridge Drive Extension is implemented
before other REGIONAL highway improvements are in place.
Pleasanton needs to have Highway expanded in order to reduce cut - through
2/3/2009
