CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-270 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF STREET TREE PRUNING AND REMOVAL ON <br />VARIOUS CITY STREETS, PROJECT N0.84-3, AND APPROVAL <br />OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO ATLAS TREE SERVICE, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Atlas Tree Service, Inc. on the street tree <br />pruning and removal on various City streets, <br />Project No. 84-3, has been satisfactorily completed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br />payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the street tree pruning and removal on <br /> various City streets is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $13,598.16 in favor of <br /> Atlas Tree Service, Inc. in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 84-3. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $1,510.91 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JUNE 12, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Mercer <br />None ~~~~R.
