Little Ivy League Chinese Culture Enrichment School <br />Summary of Operation & Hours: <br />Hours: Open for kindergartners and above aged between 5 to 13; <br />from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday; and from 3:30 p.m. to <br />5:30 p.m. on Friday. <br />Activities & Classes: general activities such as reading, homework, <br />TVNideo; classes on water color painting, Chinese drama performance, <br />Chinese poetry appreciation, Chinese idioms and their stories, Chinese <br />traditional moral values and moral stories, Chinese history stories, and <br />Chinese calligraphy. <br />Business Proposal <br />Little Ivy League ("School's is a California company that provides Chinese <br />culture enrichment programs to school age children in Pleasanton and Dublin areas. <br />The School will provide the school age children activities such as art programs, <br />and structured Chinese cultural activities. Each category of activities is described as <br />follows: <br />1. General Activities: During certain period of the School business hours, <br />children will be allowed to engage in general recreational activities such as watching <br />TVNideos, reading, and playing computer games, doing homework. During this period, <br />children will always be under the supervision of our staff. <br />2. Structured Art Programs: The School will provide kids with opportunities <br />to participate in a structured environment where they will be given instructions as to the <br />basic rules, and basic skills of various disciplines of arts, including Chinese arts and craft <br />activities, dancing lessons. Children will be coached to improve their skills in the <br />disciplines they participate in. <br />3. Structured Chinese Culture Activities: Finally, the School will also <br />provide recreational lessons or activities designeel to familiarize kids with Chinese culture <br />and traditions. For instances, Chinese drama programs will use Chinese fairy and <br />children's stories to teach children's drama performance and public speaking skills, while <br />providing kids with the opportunity to converse iri Chinese. School staff will feature short <br />classes on Chinese culture such as Chinese rural calendar holidays and their stories (e.g. <br />Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Moon Festival, etc.), Chinese idioms and their <br />stories, Chinese traditional moral values and morel stories, and Chinese history stories,. <br />Chinese painting and the classes on appreciation of Chinese painting, and Chinese IZ~ <br />calligraphy.
