CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-261 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISSOLVE LIGHTING AND <br />LANDSCAPE DISTRICT N0. 1983-1 - VALLEY BUSINESS <br />PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at the request of the developers of Valley Business <br />Park, the City of Pleasanton formed an assessment <br />district for FY 1984-85 covering certain on- and <br />off-site improvements required by conditions of <br />approval to be maintained by the park owners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City has received a request from the major <br />property owner in the park to dissolve the district <br />and supplant it with a maintenance agreement <br />between the City and the park's property owners' <br />association; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The City Council hereby declares its intent to <br />dissolve Lighting and Landscape District No. 1983-1 <br />(the "District") and, thus, to cease levying and <br />collecting assessments pursuant to the Landscaping <br />and Lighting Act of 1972 (Section 22500 et seq. of <br />the Streets and Highways Code). <br /> <br />Section 2: The improvements currently maintained by the <br /> District are generally described as landscaping, <br /> street lighting, traffic signal, and soundwall <br /> improvements installed by Valley Business Park <br /> located generally as shown on the attached Exhibit <br /> A. The Engineer's Report for the District gives a <br /> full and detailed description of the improvements, <br /> the boundaries of the District, and the current <br /> assessments upon assessable lands within the <br /> District. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Council hereby gives notice that a <br /> hearing has been set on the question of the dissolution <br /> of the District for Tuesday, June 12, 1984, at <br /> 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Council Chambers, <br /> 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 22, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
