CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-261 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISSOLVE LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE DISTRICT N0. 1983-1 - VALLEY BUSINESS PARK WHEREAS, at the request of the developers of Valley Business Park, the City of Pleasanton formed an assessment district for FY 1984-85 covering certain on- and off-site improvements required by conditions of approval to be maintained by the park owners; and WHEREAS, the City has received a request from the major property owner in the park to dissolve the district and supplant it with a maintenance agreement between the City and the park's property owners' association; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The City Council hereby declares its intent to dissolve Lighting and Landscape District No. 1983-1 (the "District") and, thus, to cease levying and collecting assessments pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972 (Section 22500 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code). Section 2: The improvements currently maintained by the District are generally described as landscaping, street lighting, traffic signal, and soundwall improvements installed by Valley Business Park located generally as shown on the attached Exhibit A. The Engineer's Report for the District gives a full and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the District, and the current assessments upon assessable lands within the District. Section 3: The City Council hereby gives notice that a hearing has been set on the question of the dissolution of the District for Tuesday, June 12, 1984, at 8:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Council Chambers, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, California. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 22, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
