CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-260 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ORDER OF SELECTION OF PARKLAND TO BE DEDICATED BY PONDEROSA HOMES WHEREAS, under the terms of the Long Term Agreement with Ponderosa Homes, the developer is required to dedicate twenty acres of parkland in five acre increments on September 1st of the years 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1987; and WHEREAS, the Long Term Agreement provides that the City shall select the location and sequence of such dedications; and WHEREAS, in order to assure an orderly acquisition of parkland and allow planning for park development, the Park and Recreation Co~anission has suggested a priority list for acquisition of land; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Under the provisions of the Long Term Agreement between Ponderosa Homes and the City of Pleasanton, Council determines the parkland dedications shall be made in the following order: September 1, 1984 - Five acres of property along the entire frontage of the west side of Hopyard Road, north of Valley, south of the canal. September 1, 1985 - Five acres of property located west of the first five.acres dedicated, north of Valley Avenue, east of the residential area. September 1, 1986 - Five acres of property west of the second five acres recorf~f~ended to be dedicated in a general configuration to conform with the total parcel as shown in the Pleasanton General Plan. September 1, 1987 - Five acres of property located somewhere in the western side of the Ponderosa Droject as shown in the Pleasanton General Plan. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
