CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-260 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ORDER OF SELECTION OF <br />PARKLAND TO BE DEDICATED BY PONDEROSA HOMES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />under the terms of the Long Term Agreement with <br />Ponderosa Homes, the developer is required to <br />dedicate twenty acres of parkland in five acre <br />increments on September 1st of the years 1984, <br />1985, 1986 and 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Long Term Agreement provides that the City shall <br />select the location and sequence of such dedications; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />in order to assure an orderly acquisition of <br />parkland and allow planning for park development, <br />the Park and Recreation Co~anission has suggested a <br />priority list for acquisition of land; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Under the provisions of the Long Term Agreement <br /> between Ponderosa Homes and the City of Pleasanton, <br /> Council determines the parkland dedications shall <br /> be made in the following order: <br /> <br />September 1, 1984 - <br /> <br />Five acres of property along the entire <br />frontage of the west side of Hopyard <br />Road, north of Valley, south of the canal. <br /> <br />September 1, 1985 - <br /> <br />Five acres of property located west of <br />the first five.acres dedicated, north of <br />Valley Avenue, east of the residential area. <br /> <br />September 1, 1986 - <br /> <br />Five acres of property west of the second <br />five acres recorf~f~ended to be dedicated in a <br />general configuration to conform with the <br />total parcel as shown in the Pleasanton <br />General Plan. <br /> <br />September 1, 1987 - <br /> <br />Five acres of property located somewhere <br />in the western side of the Ponderosa Droject <br />as shown in the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
