CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-252 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPLICATION OF EVH PARTNERSHIP <br />AND THE ROMAN CATHOLIC BISHOP OF OAKLAND FOR PUD <br />ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL OF A 296-UNIT <br />MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON 12 ACRES <br />AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BERNAL AVENUE AND SUNOL <br />BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />EVH Partnership and the Roman Catholic Bishop of <br />Oakland have applied for PUD zoning and development <br />plan approval of a 296-unit multi-family residential <br />development on 12 acres at the southwest corner of <br />Bernal Avenue and Sunol Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Council received the Planning Commission' <br />for approval; and <br /> <br />s recommendation <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 22, <br />1984; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Councilmembers expressed concern that the density <br />of the proposed development is too high and concern <br />that because negotiations for the various land <br />trades necessary to complete the project had not <br />been concluded Council felt that approval of this <br />project was premature; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the application of EVH Partnership and <br /> the Roman Catholic Bishop of Oakland for PUD <br /> zoning and development plan approval of a 296-unit <br /> multi-family residential development on 12 acres <br /> at the southwest corner of Bernal Avenue and Sunol <br /> Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 22, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler Mohr Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer ' ' <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> CER, MAYOR <br /> mes R.'Walker, City C1 ~k <br /> Doris George, Deputy %lty Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
