CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-251 <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY ACCESS ON SUTTER GATE DRIVE <br />AND MARIAN COURT AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS AT <br />PLEASANTON SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK (RELATIVE TO <br />ORDINANCE NO. 885) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on May 22, 1984 to <br />consider an amendment of Ordinance No. 885 to <br />provide for the access from the Crocker Homes <br />development easterly to connect to Sutter Gate <br />Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after taking testimony, the City Council determined <br />that no public street access would be provided <br />from the Crocker Homes project to Sutter Gate <br />Drive, but that an emergency access from the <br />Crocker Homes project to Sutter Gate Drive would <br />be provided; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that provision of the <br />emergency access does not conflict with the terms <br />and conditions of Ordinance No. 885; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Instructs staff to negotiate an agreement with <br />the Hacienda Business Park developers for improvements <br />at the west end of the Pleasanton Sports Park at <br />the Hopyard Road Intersection. <br /> <br />Section 2: Instructs staff to propose improvements to the <br /> "S" curve within the Sports Park site. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> Approves an emergency access connecting Marian <br />Court to Sutter Gate Drive as shown on Exhibit 3A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by this <br />reference, together with the improvements and <br />requirements indicated thereon. <br /> <br />Section 4: <br /> <br /> Hacienda Business Park developers and Crocker <br />Homes shall pay for the landscaping along northern <br />Sutter Gate boundary as shown in Alternative 3A, to <br />the end of the existing sidewalk on the north side <br />of Sutter Gate Drive near Mohr Avenue, and the City <br />shall maintain the landscaping after its installation. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
