CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-251 APPROVAL OF EMERGENCY ACCESS ON SUTTER GATE DRIVE AND MARIAN COURT AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS AT PLEASANTON SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK (RELATIVE TO ORDINANCE NO. 885) WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 22, 1984 to consider an amendment of Ordinance No. 885 to provide for the access from the Crocker Homes development easterly to connect to Sutter Gate Drive; and WHEREAS, after taking testimony, the City Council determined that no public street access would be provided from the Crocker Homes project to Sutter Gate Drive, but that an emergency access from the Crocker Homes project to Sutter Gate Drive would be provided; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that provision of the emergency access does not conflict with the terms and conditions of Ordinance No. 885; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Instructs staff to negotiate an agreement with the Hacienda Business Park developers for improvements at the west end of the Pleasanton Sports Park at the Hopyard Road Intersection. Section 2: Instructs staff to propose improvements to the "S" curve within the Sports Park site. Section 3: Approves an emergency access connecting Marian Court to Sutter Gate Drive as shown on Exhibit 3A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, together with the improvements and requirements indicated thereon. Section 4: Hacienda Business Park developers and Crocker Homes shall pay for the landscaping along northern Sutter Gate boundary as shown in Alternative 3A, to the end of the existing sidewalk on the north side of Sutter Gate Drive near Mohr Avenue, and the City shall maintain the landscaping after its installation. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
