CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-239 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br />LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br />AMENDING SECTION 3 (STOP INTERSECTIONS) BY ADDING <br />SUBSECTION 3b-2 REGARDING A STOP SIGN ON A PRIVATE <br />STREET FROM WELLINGTON CONDOMINI~4S <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br />No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 22, 1984, the City Council received <br />and discussed a report dated May 22, 1984 from the Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities related to the need for a <br />stop sign on a private street entering Black Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 to install a stop sign on the above-described <br />private street; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF'THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic <br />Regulations for City Streets) is hereby amended by adding <br />subsection 3b-2 as follows: <br /> <br />"3b-2 <br /> <br />Black Avenue, a stop sign on the private street <br />which enters onto Black Avenue from Wellington <br />Condominiums (Tract 4549); stopping traffic on <br />the private street." <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 22, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None E NET~~ <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />TTEsT: <br />~f--.'/~# ~. ~ ]~.
