CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-234 <br /> <br />ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS, PLEASANTON SPORTS <br />AND RECREATION PARK, PHASE IV, PROJECT NO. 83-2, AND <br />APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO ROBERT OUATMAN, <br />INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />work by Robert Quatman, Inc. on the improvements of <br />Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park, Phase IV, <br />Project No. 83-2, has been satisfactorily completed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br />payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the improvements of Pleasanton Sports <br /> and Recreation Park, Phase IV is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br />a warrant in the amount of $46,479.54 in favor of <br />Robert Quatman, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br />progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br />Project No. 83-2. A Certificate of Deposit for <br />$50,000.00 will be retained by the City until 30 <br />days after filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: Appropriates an additional $50,830.11 to cover the <br /> overruns incurred on this project. <br /> <br />Section 4: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 8, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr and Wood <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ame R. lker, City C er " '~ <br /> s 1 k ~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />~YOR <br /> <br /> <br />
