CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-231 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />PREZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 120 ACRES LOCATED AT <br />4440 AND 4432 FOOTHILL ROAD TO THE PUD-OPEN SPACE <br />DISTRICT AND PUD-LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of May 8, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for <br />prezoning an approximately 120 acre site on Foothill <br />Road opposite its intersection with West Las Positas <br />Boulevard, commonly known as 4432 and 4440 Foothill <br />Road, which land is involved in Annexation No. 107, <br />to the PUD-Open Space/Low Density Residential Districts; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 18, 1984 and received <br />the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of negative <br />declarations and environmental impact reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed prezoning <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for the prezoning <br /> of an approximately 120 acre site located at 4432 and <br /> 4440 Foothill Road, which land is involved in <br /> Annexation No. 107, to the PUD-Open SDace/Low Density <br /> Residential Districts. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 8, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
