CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-230 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF FALCON DEVELOPMENT <br />COMPANY OF A DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />DENYING A SUBDIVISION SIGN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at their meeting of April 11, 1984, the Board of Adjustment <br />denied the application of Falcon Development Company <br />for a variance from the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance <br />to allow the placement of an on-site subdivision sign <br />within 1000 ft. of the right-of-way of a designated <br />scenic route (I-680);and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the matter was appealed to the City Council by Falcon <br />Development Company within the time period allowed; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the matter was considered by the City Council at a <br />duly noticed public hearing on May 8, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Denies the appeal of Falcon Development Company of <br /> a decision of the Board of Adjustment denying a variance <br /> to allow the placement of an on-site subdivision sign <br /> with 1000 ft. of the right-of-way of a designated scenic <br /> route (1-680). <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 8, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers ~ Brandes, Mohr and Wood <br />None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> .MAYOR <br />James R. ~alker,~ · <br /> <br /> Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
