CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-224 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 81-265 AND <br />APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH VINTAGE ASSOCIATES <br />REGARDING LOWER-INCOME EXEMPTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on August 11, 1983, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 81-265 which granted a lower-income exemption to <br />Tract 5008; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is appropriate at this time to amend the foregoing <br />resolution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Resolution No, 81-265 shall be amended to delete the <br />requirement for for-sale units and to require 25% lower- <br />income units with an additional 25% of the units to be <br />rental to moderate-income tenants at a rate not to exceed <br />a rate affordable by a family earning the Bay Area median <br />income. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Approves the agreement with Vintage Associates regarding <br />the lower-income exemption, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the above-described <br /> agreement. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MAY 8, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr and Wood <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> TTEST: ~ ~E <br />James . ~ #~ <br /> R <br /> eorge, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />MAYOR <br /> <br />P~t~'D.
