This temporary track will begin about 1,200 feet
south of the existing Western Pacific bridge across
Arroyo de la Laguna and will extend for about 800 feet,
connecting into Southern Pacific about 1,200 feet south of
the Southern Pacific bridge across the same creek.

It appears this shoofly will need to cross property owned
by neither railroad, as shown on the attached sketch.
Western Pacific Right-of-Way and Track Map, Sta. 1083+82
to Sta. 868+29, indicates that the parcel was originally
owned by the Spring Valley Water Company, Parcel No. 2,
the railroad right-of-way having been acquired by Deed
dated November 14, 1913, Record 2217-134, December 4~ !913~
Cust. No. 1784. We do not have the Assessor's Map for
this area, but would suggest that perhaps the property is
still owned by the successor to Spring Valley~ namely, the
City and County of San Francisco, ~etch Hetchy Water Depart-
ment.

Steps need to be taken to secure a temporary construction
easement. The temporary track would traverse the corner
r-~f this property. After about six mOnths use, it would
be removed.

EXH[D T h
