See Railroad Consolidation <br /> Procedures, 366 I.C.6: 75, 94 (1982-). <br /> <br /> The purpose of the transaction is to eliminate redundant <br /> parallel trackage and share the costs of the remaining trackage. <br /> Under the proposed relocation project SPT-will abandon its line <br /> of'railroad from milepost 29-09 at Niles, CA, to milepost 66.5 <br /> near Tracy in Alm~eda and San Joaquin, CA (Niles line).. . <br /> Concurrently, SPT will acquire trackage rights over the parallel <br /> ~P track which will allow SPT to operate.between Niles.and <br /> LathroD, CA. SPT shippers on the Niles line will continue to <br /> <br /> receive service. The relocation will enhance the efficiency of <br />"SPT's operations, for the reason that redundant facilities will <br /> <br /> be eliminated. <br /> <br /> <br />
