CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-206 <br /> <br />~ESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR PREANNEXATION <br />UTILITY CONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR DEGARMO <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 24, 1984, the City Council <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities regarding the request of Guy <br />and Virginia DeGarmo for connection to the City <br />water and sewer facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based upon that report, it appears appropriate to <br />approve this request for a preannexation utility <br />connection agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Council hereby gives preliminary approval to the <br />request of Guy and Virginia DeGarmo for a Preannexation <br />Utility Connection Agreement covering property at <br />582 Sycamore Road. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Directs staff to prepare an appropriate preannexation <br />agreement which would include standard requirements <br />as well as specifically requiring the following: <br /> <br />The extension of utility systems necessary to <br />serve the DeGarmo property shall be constructed <br />to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, and <br />all costs and fees shall be paid by the <br />DeGarmo's. <br /> <br />The existing septic tank and seepage pits <br />shall be filled to the satisfaction of the <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />The existing well shall be disconnected from <br />the house water lines and used for irrigation <br />and swimming pool filling only, and the new <br />City water connection shall be in full compliance <br />with City requirements for backflow prevention. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Dreannexation <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
