CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-206 ~ESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR PREANNEXATION UTILITY CONNECTION AGREEMENT FOR DEGARMO WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 24, 1984, the City Council reviewed the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities regarding the request of Guy and Virginia DeGarmo for connection to the City water and sewer facilities; and WHEREAS, based upon that report, it appears appropriate to approve this request for a preannexation utility connection agreement; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Council hereby gives preliminary approval to the request of Guy and Virginia DeGarmo for a Preannexation Utility Connection Agreement covering property at 582 Sycamore Road. Section 2: Directs staff to prepare an appropriate preannexation agreement which would include standard requirements as well as specifically requiring the following: The extension of utility systems necessary to serve the DeGarmo property shall be constructed to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, and all costs and fees shall be paid by the DeGarmo's. The existing septic tank and seepage pits shall be filled to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. The existing well shall be disconnected from the house water lines and used for irrigation and swimming pool filling only, and the new City water connection shall be in full compliance with City requirements for backflow prevention. Section 3: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the Dreannexation agreement on behalf of the City. Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
