CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-194 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF A CLAIM <br />WITH THE METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION <br />FOR ALLOCATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT <br />FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR 1984-85 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Transportation Development Act (TDA), as amended <br />(Public Utilities Code Sections 99200 et seq.), provides <br />for the disbursement of funds from the local Transporta- <br />tion Fund of the County of Alameda for use by eligible <br />claimants for the purpose of community transit services <br />for Pleasanton residents; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to the provision of the TDA, as amended and <br />pursuant to the applicable rules and regulations <br />thereunder (21 Cal.Admin. Code Sections 6600 et seq.) <br />a prospective claimant wishing to receive an allocation <br />from the local Transportation Fund shall file its claim <br />with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />TDA funds from the local Transportation Fund of Alameda <br />County will be required by claimant in Fiscal Year <br />1984-85 for community transit services. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> That Dolores Bengtson, Director of Recreation and Human <br />Resources is authorized to execute and file an appropriate <br />claim pursuant to the terms of the Transportation Develop- <br />ment Act, as amended, and pursuant to applicable rules <br />and regulations promulgated thereunder, together with all <br />necessary supporting documents, with the Metropolitan <br />Transportation Commission for an allocation of TDA funds <br />in Fiscal Year 1984-85. <br /> <br />Section 2: That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the <br /> Metropolitan Transportation Commission in conjunction <br /> with the filing of the claim; and the Metropolitan <br /> Transportation Commission be requested to grant the <br /> allocations of funds as specified herein. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
