Little Ivy League "LIL" Chinese School <br />~~ Conditional Use Application <br />General Description <br />The proposed facility has adequate 81 pazking spaces available for daily use. Since all of ow attendees <br />would be vanpooling to the facility, no additional pazking spaces are required until pick up time which <br />is between 4:00 and 6:30 pm when most tenants in the business park will be closed. Based on ow <br />current location and activity regarding transportation, we have found our program does not impact on- <br />site circulation. This new facility offers evening pick up without interference to the circulation as <br />parents will be instructed to use the driveway off West Las Positas Blvd. to remain clear of the <br />existing traffic from the neighborhood office uses as well as offer a right in- right out traffic pattern. <br />No commercial regular pick up or delivery services are required for our school. <br />Licensing: <br />According to California State Departrnent of Social Service Oakland Office, our program qualifies as <br />exempt from licenswe requirement as a "private recreation program" under Title 22, Division 12, <br />Chapter 1, Section 101158 of the Califomia Code of Regulation, which is the governing statute for <br />child care centers in the State California. <br />Security: <br />All tutorial students are required to be signed in and signed out daily in a log book. There is a security <br />gate at our main entrance lobby. Students can only be picked up by their parents or a designated adult <br />on file with ow organization. All designated adults aze verified with their driver's licenses for <br />identification at time of pick up. <br />Planned Shsring of Facilities <br />The maximum number of total tutorial student is 90. We currently cooperatively share facilities with <br />Fountain Community Chwch (FCC) at 4439 Stoneridge Drive, and we plan to share space in ow new <br />facility with KPC at 5925 W. Las Positas Blvd. <br />LIL's academic program classrooms aze set up for normal operations that meet during the weekdays, <br />whereas the chwch's main use is on Saturdays and Sundays, and minor evening use only after we aze <br />closed.
