ATTACHMENT 8 Operational History of Little Ivy League SR Elizabetti Smwu Church 4455 Stoneridge Drive ceatuty House 2340 Santa Rita Road In April 2005, Ms. Jennifer Zheng applied for a Conditional Use Permit (Case No. PCUP-138) to operate an after-school enrichment program/Little Ivy League (3:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on Fridays) for a maximum of 30 students at 2340 Santa Rita Road. The application was approved by the Planning Commission. In 2006, Pleasanton Community Church merged with Fountain Community Church. The previously approved daycare program and the after-school tutoring program remained in operation as part of the church programs. • In 2007, Little Ivy League moved to 4455 Stoneridge Drive where it operated under use permits issued to the Pleasanton Community Church to operate an after-school daycare program and an after-school tutoring program (PCUP-84 and PCUP-143). • In May 2008, Ms. Jennifer Zheng submitted an application, requesting to relocate Little Ivy League to 4430 Willow Road, Suite M. • In early September 2008, staff was contacted by Mr. Kevin Hu, a Little Ivy League parent, who was concerned about overcrowding at 4455 Stoneridge Drive. The City's Code Enforcement Officer visited the site and was informed that Little Ivy League currently has 60-65 children on site. The Fire Department inspected the site and stated that no overcrowding issue was observed at the time of the inspection. However the number of students does exceed those allowed by existing use permits issued by the City. As there was a pending application for relocation of the use, the compliance review of Little Ivy League at 4455 Stoneridge Drive has been held in abeyance. • In late September 2008, Ms. Zheng withdrew the application for 4430 Willow Road and submitted the current application to relocate Little Ivy League to 5925 West Las Positas Boulevard.
