CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-182 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR <br />CIVIC CENTER EXPANSION PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on October 20, 1983, Council authorized the expansion <br />of the Civic Center by an additional 2,500 sq. ft. <br />of office space and space to accommodate the <br />traffic computer; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />several items not originally included in the <br />contract specifications have come to the attention <br />of staff including a "halon" fire protection <br />system for the computer room and replacement of <br />tile and carpeting in extremely worn existing <br />floor coverings; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a panel system is proposed to provide a semi- <br />private, quiet and organized work area for employees <br />in the public areas of City Hall and furniture for <br />the employees' lunchroom is necessary; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the additional change orders (#1 through <br /> #4) totalling $25,851. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> Appropriates an additional $25,944 for the <br />expansion project to include the purchase of a <br />panel system and guest seating as shown in Staff <br />Report 84:195 and a refrigerator, table, and <br />chairs for the employee lunchroom. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None .!. . <br /> <br /> R.
