The information which follows in Appendix D is presented as general <br />background data. The Bonds are payable solely from the proceeds of payments <br />upon unpaid assessments and other sources as described herein. The taxing <br />power of the City of Pleasanton, the State of California or any political <br />subdivision thereof is not pledged to the payment of the Bonds. See the <br />section herein entitled "The Bonds". <br /> <br /> APPENDIX D <br />CITY FINANCIAL INFORMATION <br /> <br />City Assessed Valuation <br /> <br /> A history of the City's assessed valuations for the past six years appears <br />in Table D-1. Beginning in 1981/82, assessed valuations are based on 100% of <br />full value, rather than 25% as in prior years. To this may be added whatever tax rates are necessary <br />to meet debt service on indebtedness approved by the voters prior to <br />July l, 1978. <br /> <br /> There were 40 tax code areas established within the City for the 1982/83 <br />fiscal year. Total tax rate per $100 assessed valuation (full value) within <br />these various code areas range from $1.1396 to $1.3509. The City tax rate for <br />1982/83 is $.0090 per $100 assessed valuation to pay for debt service. <br /> <br /> Tax Rate Area 19-000 is representative of the code areas within the City. <br />Shown in Table D-2 are all tax rates within this tax rate area for the past <br />three years. <br /> <br />D-1 <br /> <br /> <br />
