RESOLUTION NO. 84-173 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT <br /> AND ORDERING IMPROVEMENT <br /> <br />ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1984-1, HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br /> The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br /> <br /> This Council has taken a series of actions preliminary to <br />ordering the acquisition of improvements in Assessment District <br />No. 1984-1, Hopyard Road, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, <br />California, and now makes the following findings and orders: <br /> <br /> 1. The Council adopted a map showing the boundaries of <br />the land benefited by the proposed improvement. This map was later <br />amended. A copy of both maps were filed in the office of the County <br />Recorder of the County of Alameda in the Book of Maps of Assessment <br />Districts. <br /> <br /> 2. The Council adopted its Resolution of Intention to <br />order the improvement described therein under the Municipal <br />Improvement Act of 1913, and directed Bissell & Karn, as the <br />Engineer of Work for the assessment district, to prepare the report <br />required by Section 10204 of the Streets and Highways Code. <br /> <br /> The improvement is generally described as follows: <br /> <br /> The acquisition of offsite street and utility improvements <br /> including grading, paving, curbs and gutters, a bridge, <br /> traffic signals, sound walls, landscaping, domestic water <br /> main services and hydrants, storm drain, sanitary sewer <br /> mains, underground electrical and telephone utilities, and <br /> relocating utilities, on Hopyard Road between Valley <br /> Avenue and approximately 800 feet southerly to Owens <br /> Drive; Owens Drive between Hopyard Road and approximately <br /> 425 feet westerly to Hopyard Road; portions of Johnson <br /> Court; and West Las Positas Boulevard between the Southern <br /> Pacific Transportation Company railroad tracks and Santa <br /> Rita Road. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> <br />
