CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-170 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br />ESTABLISHMENT OF AN APPROXIMATELY 5,800 FOOT BIKE <br />PATH AND RELATED FACILITIES LOCATED IN TttE AREA <br />OF VINEYARD AVENUE AND FIRST STREET BETWEEN ADAMS <br />WAY AND STANLEY BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 10, 1984, the City Council <br />received a proposed negative declaration for establish- <br />ment of an approximately 5,800 foot bike path and <br />related facilities located in the area of Vineyard <br />Avenue and First Street between Adams Way and Stanley <br />Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated April 2, 1984 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br />time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />bike path; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br />in accordance with the applicable state and local <br />guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council finds that the proposed bike path <br />would not have any significant adverse effects on <br />the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for establishment of <br /> an approximately 5,800 foot bike path and related <br /> facilities located in the area of Vineyard Avenue and <br /> First Street between Adams Way and Stanley Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Brandes, Butler, Mohr, W~o~nd Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
