CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-170 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF AN APPROXIMATELY 5,800 FOOT BIKE PATH AND RELATED FACILITIES LOCATED IN TttE AREA OF VINEYARD AVENUE AND FIRST STREET BETWEEN ADAMS WAY AND STANLEY BOULEVARD WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 10, 1984, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for establish- ment of an approximately 5,800 foot bike path and related facilities located in the area of Vineyard Avenue and First Street between Adams Way and Stanley Boulevard; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated April 2, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed bike path; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed bike path would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for establishment of an approximately 5,800 foot bike path and related facilities located in the area of Vineyard Avenue and First Street between Adams Way and Stanley Boulevard. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
