CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFO~IIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-167 <br /> <br />PZSOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY FOR DESIGN APPROVAL FOR AN <br />APPROXIMATELY 13,000 SQ. FT. RESTAURANT ON APPROXI- <br />MATELY 2.7 ACRES AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF HOPYARD <br />ROAD AND GIBRALTAR DRIVE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Prudential Insurance Company has applied for design <br />review approval for an approximately 13,000 sq. ft. <br />restaurant on an approximately 2.7 acre site located <br />at the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and Gibraltar <br />Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for the <br />development plan of the subject site (~UD-81-30) <br />including the typical architectural and site designs <br />for individual lots, and there are no changed circum- <br />stances or new information requiring additional <br />environmental review; therefore, this application <br />does not constitute a new project under CEQA and no <br />new environmental documents accompany this aDplication; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on April 10, 1984 and <br />testimony taken concerning the proposed project <br />including its design, cumulative impact, consistency <br />with PUD-81-30 and the General Plan; and <br /> <br />the City Council has found that the project is <br />consistent with PUD-81-30 as well as the City's <br />General Plan; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the application of Prudential Insurance <br /> Company for design approval for an approximately <br /> 13,000 sq. ft. restaurant on approximately 2.7 acres <br /> located at the southeast corner of Hopyard Road and <br /> Gibraltar Drive, subject to the conditions listed in <br /> Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
