CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-166 RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE/CIRCULATION ELEMENTS FOR CAPITAL CONVEYANCE COMPANY AND PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY WHEREAS, requests for General Plan changes to the Land Use/Circulation Elements of the General Plan have been made concerning various areas throughout the planning area, including the following: Application of Capital Conveyance Company to amend the General Plan land use designation on approximately 1.56 acres located on the north side of Valley Avenue just east of the Hopyard Shopping Village from "Public and Institutional" to "Commercial and Offices"; and Application of Prudential Insurance Company for an amendment to the Land Use and Circulation Element of the General Plan to change the land use designation of the approximately 5.7 acre site located immediately north of Hacienda Business Park between Hopyard Road, Chabot Drive and Owens Drive from "General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial and Offices," and to extend Stoneridge Drive southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard, then easterly beyond the southeast corner of the Hacienda Business Park to Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held public hearings on these proposed changes and has recommended approval of them; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on April 10, 1984, at which time the City Council reviewed the proposed General Plan amendments and considered all reports, documents, testimony, and recommendations; and WHEREAS, Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed changes covered in GP-83-12 and GP-84-4; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the application of Capital Conveyance Company to amend the General Plan land use designation on approximately 1.56 acres located on the north
