CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-166 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS TO <br />THE LAND USE/CIRCULATION ELEMENTS FOR CAPITAL <br />CONVEYANCE COMPANY AND PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />requests for General Plan changes to the Land <br />Use/Circulation Elements of the General Plan have <br />been made concerning various areas throughout the <br />planning area, including the following: <br /> <br />Application of Capital Conveyance Company to <br />amend the General Plan land use designation <br />on approximately 1.56 acres located on the <br />north side of Valley Avenue just east of the <br />Hopyard Shopping Village from "Public and <br />Institutional" to "Commercial and Offices"; <br />and <br /> <br />Application of Prudential Insurance Company <br />for an amendment to the Land Use and Circulation <br />Element of the General Plan to change the <br />land use designation of the approximately 5.7 <br />acre site located immediately north of Hacienda <br />Business Park between Hopyard Road, Chabot <br />Drive and Owens Drive from "General and <br />Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Commercial <br />and Offices," and to extend Stoneridge Drive <br />southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard, <br />then easterly beyond the southeast corner of <br />the Hacienda Business Park to Santa Rita <br />Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has held public hearings <br />on these proposed changes and has recommended <br />approval of them; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />a public hearing was held on April 10, 1984, at <br />which time the City Council reviewed the proposed <br />General Plan amendments and considered all reports, <br />documents, testimony, and recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Negative Declarations were adopted for the proposed <br />changes covered in GP-83-12 and GP-84-4; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the application of Capital Conveyance <br />Company to amend the General Plan land use designation <br />on approximately 1.56 acres located on the north <br /> <br /> <br />
