CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-164 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE AND CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF APPROXImaTELY 5.7 ACRES LOCATED IMMEDIATELY NORTH OF HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK BETWEEN HOPYARD ROAD, CHABOT DRIVE AND OWENS DRIVE FROM "GENERAL AND LIMITED INDUSTRIAL" TO "INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL AND OFFICES" AND TO EXTEND STONERIDGE DRIVE SOUTHERLY ACROSS WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD THEN EASTERLY BEYOND THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE HACIENDA BUSINESS PARK TO SANTA RITA ROAD WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 10, 1984, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for an amendment to the Land Use and Circulation Element of the General Plan to change the land use designation of approximately 5.7 acres located immediately north of Hacienda Business Park between Hopyard Road, Chabot Drive and Owens Drive from "General and Limited Industrial" to "Industrial, Connnercial and Offices" and to extend Stoneridge Drive southerly across West Las Positas Boulevard then easterly beyond the southeast corner of the Hacienda Business Park to Santa Rita Road; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March 21, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and ~{EREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proDosed General Plan amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental imDact reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the public hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
