CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-154 RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY AMENDING SECTIONS 3 AND 6 BY ADDING SUBSECTIONS 3j-1 AND 6w-1 REGARDING STOP SIGNS ON JUNIPERO STREET AND NO PARKING ON NORTH SIDE OF WASHINGTON STREET WHEREAS, the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations for City Streets); and WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution No. 76-79; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of April 10, 1984, the City Council received and discussed two reports from the Director of Public Works and Utilities related to the need for stop signs on Junipero Street at its intersection with Sonoma Drive and the problem of parking on Washington Street; and WHEREAS, it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution No. 76-79 as follows: NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby amended by adding subsection 3j-1 as follows: "3j-1 Junipero Street, at Sonoma Drive; stopping traffic on Junipero Street in both directions." Section 2: Resolution No. 76-79 is further amended by adding subsection 6w-1 as follows: "6w-1 Washington Street, on the north side of the entire length of Washington Street." Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
