CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-154 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-79 (ESTAB- <br />LISHING TRAFFIC REGULATIONS FOR CITY STREETS) BY <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 3 AND 6 BY ADDING SUBSECTIONS <br />3j-1 AND 6w-1 REGARDING STOP SIGNS ON JUNIPERO <br />STREET AND NO PARKING ON NORTH SIDE OF WASHINGTON <br />STREET <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council, on April 12, 1976, adopted Resolution <br />No. 76-79 (A Resolution Establishing Traffic Regulations <br />for City Streets); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council has from time to time amended Resolution <br />No. 76-79; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of April 10, 1984, the City Council <br />received and discussed two reports from the Director <br />of Public Works and Utilities related to the need for <br />stop signs on Junipero Street at its intersection with <br />Sonoma Drive and the problem of parking on Washington <br />Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it was determined to be necessary to amend Resolution <br />No. 76-79 as follows: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Resolution No. 76-79 is hereby amended by adding <br /> subsection 3j-1 as follows: <br /> <br />"3j-1 Junipero Street, at Sonoma Drive; stopping traffic <br /> on Junipero Street in both directions." <br /> <br />Section 2: Resolution No. 76-79 is further amended by adding <br /> subsection 6w-1 as follows: <br /> <br />"6w-1 Washington Street, on the north side of the <br /> entire length of Washington Street." <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED APRIL 10, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br />Mayor Butler <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
