CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-150 RESOLUTION APPROVING APPEAL OF LESHER COMMUNICATIONS TO A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 14, 1984, the Design Review Board recommended approval of the project of Lesher Communications subject to a condition which reduced the building by approximately 500 sq. ft. to allow removal of two proposed parking spaces which would then be replaced by landscaping; and WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an appeal to the Design Review Board decision; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 27, 1984, the City Council reviewed a report dated March 20, 1984 from the Director of Planning and Community DeveloDment together with coDies of staff reports to the Board of Adjustment regarding this matter; and WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing at which time the applicant and any other member of the public was offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding this appeal; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on March 27, 1984; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the appeal of Lesher Communications to a decision of the Design Review Board and approves the proposed construction of an approximately 10,000 sq. ft. office building at 139 Spring Street as shown on the site plan, subject to the following conditions: That the development be substantially as shown on the site plan, elevations and landscape plan, as shown on Exhibit A, all on file with the Planning Division. That the developer dedicate to the City for street right-of-way purposes, a 5 ft. wide parcel along the Sprin~ Street frontage and that new curb, gutter and sidewalk be installed in this area.
