CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-150 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPEAL OF LESHER COMMUNICATIONS <br />TO A DECISION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 14, 1984, the Design Review <br />Board recommended approval of the project of Lesher <br />Communications subject to a condition which reduced <br />the building by approximately 500 sq. ft. to allow <br />removal of two proposed parking spaces which would <br />then be replaced by landscaping; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an <br />appeal to the Design Review Board decision; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 27, 1984, the City Council <br />reviewed a report dated March 20, 1984 from the <br />Director of Planning and Community DeveloDment <br />together with coDies of staff reports to the Board <br />of Adjustment regarding this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing <br />at which time the applicant and any other member of <br />the public was offered an opportunity to present <br />evidence regarding this appeal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br />no significant adverse effects on the environment, <br />a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br />March 27, 1984; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Approves the appeal of Lesher Communications to a <br />decision of the Design Review Board and approves the <br />proposed construction of an approximately 10,000 sq. <br />ft. office building at 139 Spring Street as shown on <br />the site plan, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />That the development be substantially as shown <br />on the site plan, elevations and landscape plan, <br />as shown on Exhibit A, all on file with the <br />Planning Division. <br /> <br />That the developer dedicate to the City for <br />street right-of-way purposes, a 5 ft. wide parcel <br />along the Sprin~ Street frontage and that new <br />curb, gutter and sidewalk be installed in this <br />area. <br /> <br /> <br />
