CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />AL~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-148 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF SMS BUILDERS OF A <br />DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT GRANTING A <br />VARIANCE FOR ONLY FOUR SUBDIVISION SIGNS FOR TRACT <br />4372 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />SMS Builders applied for a variance to allow the <br />installation of six subdivision signs rather than <br />the three allowed by code for Tract 4372; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 22, 1984, the Board of <br />Adjustment granted approval for four of the signs <br />rather than the six requested; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br />the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an <br />appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the matter was considered by the Council on March 27, <br />1984 and was open to a public hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />based on the staff report and information presented at <br />the public hearing, the City Council is unable to <br />make the required findings; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Denies the appeal of SMS Builders (AP-84-3) of a <br />decision of the Board of Adjustment granting a <br />variance for four subdivision signs for Tract <br />4372. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 27, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Mayor <br /> Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br /> ROB YOR <br /> <br />y Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br /> D <br /> ac onald, Cit Attorne <br /> <br /> <br />
