CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-129 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING STAFF TO <br />PROCEED WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE <br />UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE <br />PUBLIC NUISANCES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 28, 19~4, Counciladopted <br />Resolution No. 84-94, declaring as a public nuisance <br />all weeds, rubbish or refuse uDon or in front of <br />certain described properties within the City of <br />Pleasanton as more Darticularly set forth in <br />Exhibit "A" attached thereto; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Resolution No.84-94 was adopted pursuant to <br />the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501- <br />39588; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />said Resolution No. 84-94 designated March 13, <br />1984, at the hour of 8:00 p.m., at the Pleasanton <br />City Council Chambers, as the time, date and Dlace <br />to hear and consider objections to the abatement <br />and removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in <br />front of certain described properties within the <br />City of Pleasanton more particularly set forth in <br />Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 84-94; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Fire Prevention Officer was charged with the <br />responsibility to perform the duties imposed by <br />Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did <br />prepare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish <br />and refuse, and did in the time and manner prescribed <br />by law cause copies of the notice to be conspicuously <br />posted on or in front of the property where the <br />nuisance exists; the City did mail written notice <br />of the proposed abatement to all persons owning <br />property described in Resolution No. 84-94 in the <br />time, form and manner prescribed by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council did hold a public hearing on <br />March 13, 1984, and no one appeared to raise objections; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU~]CIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> The Fire Prevention Officer is ordered to abate <br />the nuisance declared by Resolution No. 84-94 <br />by having the weeds, rubbish, and refuse removed <br />and for this purpose, the Fire Prevention Officer <br /> <br /> <br />
