Summary of Staff Recommendations <br /> <br />For each of the proposed recommendations, you may wish to do one <br />of the following: <br /> <br />· Accept the recommendation in its proposed form <br />· Revise the recommendation <br />· Refer the recommendation to staff for further analysis <br />· Reject the recommendation <br /> <br />The following staff recommendations are the first steps you may <br />take to begin implementation of the committee's recommendations <br /> <br />1. Proposed schedule for council review <br /> <br />Recommendation: Accept the proposed schedule <br /> <br />2. Committee's highest priority recommendations (see Section III <br /> on page 15) <br /> <br />a. General Plan Update <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Direct staff to prepare a work program <br />for an update of the entire General <br />Plan document in FY 1984-85 by March 27, <br />1984. <br /> <br />b. Planning Information System <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Direct staff to find a central location <br />in City Hall for the committee's library <br />and allocate a modest budget for the <br />purchase of new documents in FY 1984-85. <br /> <br />c. Environmental Monitoring <br /> Monitoring System <br /> <br />Commission; <br /> <br />Comprehensive <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Direct staff to develop an outline <br />of monitoring needs (such as data <br />requirements and monitoring equipment) <br />and investigate different systems <br />to monitor compliance with PUD condi- <br />tions of approval by March 27, 1984. <br /> <br />d.
