Job No. 19447.010 <br />Exhibit A <br />Page 8 of 12 <br />PART R -ALTERNATE SERVICES <br />Civil Engineer may also provide the following services as approved by the City of Pleasanton: <br />ALT. TASK 1.0 AERIAL TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEY <br />Obtain an aerial topographic survey and planimetric map of the Project site including office calculations and <br />field survey work to set flight markers for aerial flight control. (Including Subconsultant work by aerial <br />photogrammetrist.) <br />PART III -ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br />At this time it is understood that the City does not require services related to actual bidding of the proposed <br />improvements, construction administration, construction management and/or construction staking. The following <br />services are not included in the Swpe of Services but could be provided as needed on a Time & Materials basis: <br />1. Attend Precons[ruction meeting and provide Consultant input. <br />2. Provide responses to RFI (requests for information) from the Contractor, review material cut sheet and shop <br />drawing submittals by the Contractor for compliance with Contract Documents and City Standards. <br />3. Construction Management services, including periodic site visits during construction to observe general <br />conformance with [he design intent and general compliance with the information given in the Contract <br />Documents. <br />4. Provide construction staking For field layout of grading, improvements and utilities, including interpretation of <br />improvement plans, answering field questions by Contractor and providing cut sheets for as-staked <br />information. <br />5. Review of Contractor's invoices, bills of lading and field records to confirm work progress and payment <br />amounts by City. <br />6. Final site visit and preparation of As-Built drawings and/or site visit memorandum outlining improvement and <br />construction deficiencies. <br />7. Analysis of off-site downstream storm drainage or sanitary sewer facilities. <br />8. Preparation of property descriptions and accompanying plats for easements, dedications, right of ways, or lot <br />line adjustments, etc. <br />9. Boundary Survey or boundary resolve if errors or boundary closure/control problems are discovered. <br />] 0. Replacement of or setting of any new property corners or control points of record. <br />PART IV -EXCLUSIONS /ASSUMPTIONS <br />The following items are specifically excluded from the Scope of Services or are assumed to be provided by Client or others, <br />or are assumptions related to the scope and fees presented in Exhibit A: <br />1. To secure permission of the property owner for the Consultant and Subconsultan[s to enter upon [he property when <br />necessary to accomplish the Services and to obtain permission from affected property owners if supplemental topo, <br />grading or other work is required to be done on their property. <br />2. To provide Consultant or authorize Consultant to obtain current title reports that describe the project site and all <br />encumbrances, including all the supporting documents for the project site and adjacent properties. <br />3. To provide services associated with traffic analysis or traffic signals for the connection of the Parking Lot to <br />adjacent public sheets. <br />4. If a Boundary Survey is required in addition to the services being performed under this Agreement, the need for <br />Consultant to timely file a Record of Survey map with the County Surveyor in accordance with current State law <br />(Business and Professional Code Section 8762) may be triggered.
