$168,622 to provide design and engineering services for Santa Rita Road and Valley <br />Avenue Widening Improvements, CIP No. 975039 <br />7. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute Contract Amendment No. 2 with <br />Kleinfelder in the not-to-exceed amount of $35,000 for consultant environmental services <br />for soil and groundwater sampling for Fire Station No. 3; authorized the Director of <br />Community Development to execute change orders not-to-exceed $7,000 and the transfer <br />of $42,000 from the General Fund Contingency Reserve to said project <br />8. Accepted public improvements; and authorized final payment and filing a notice of <br />completion for Tract 7815, Estates on Oak Ridge (Reznick Property) <br />9. Authorized the Mayor to execute a letter in support of accreditation for the Tri-Valley <br />Conservancy <br />Finance <br />10. Public Hearing: Adopted Resolution No. 08-253 accepting and approving the Report and <br />Budget of the Pleasanton Downtown Business Improvement District Advisory Board <br />Report, and Levying the Annual Assessment for 2009 <br />11. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a software license and service <br />agreement with Questica Inc., in the amount of $65,400 for the purchase and installation <br />of integrated operating and capital budget software <br />Parks and Community Services <br />12. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a consultant agreement with <br />Richard Larson and Associates in the amount of $78,000 for the design of the master plan <br />for Lions Wayside and Delucchi Parks, CIP No. 067016 <br />Motion: It was m/s by Thorne/McGovern to approve Consent Calendar as submitted. Motion <br />passed by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Mayor Hosterman introduced Pamela Ott, Director of Economic Development who discussed <br />the marketing campaign for businesses throughout Pleasanton and the City's partnership with <br />the Pleasanton Downtown Association to support businesses. <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br />13. Presentations by the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council of funds received for the Firehouse <br />Arts Center <br />John Lowell, President of the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Foundation, said he is joined by <br />Boardmembers Jaime Dowell, Marjene Girt-Navarra and Greg Resnick, and fundraisers Sophia <br />Brown and Kennedy Truex of the Under 11 Premier Soccer Team who hosted a fundraiser for <br />the center. <br />City Council Minutes Page 2 of 15 December 16, 2008 <br />
