CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-110 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING PLEASANTON HOUSING GROUP, <br />INC. HOUSING PROJECT REPORT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 28, 1984, the City <br />Council received and reviewed the report of the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development <br />dated February 16, 1984 (SR 84:103) which outlined <br />in detail the various options available to PHGI in <br />meeting its goal of constructing a non-profit <br />corporation sDonsored affordable housing project <br />on city land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />testimony was taken on this matter and considerable <br />discussion occurred regarding the alternatives; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Council approves in concept Alternative #1, a <br /> 200 unit project that would provide 100% elderly <br /> housing with 51% of the units affordable and 49% <br /> of the units market rate, sponsored by the Pleasanton <br /> Housing Group, Inc. <br /> <br />Section 2: City Housing Funds in the amount of $50,000 <br /> shall be committed for pre-development expenses <br /> associated with a proposed project by Pleasanton <br /> Housing Group, Inc. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> Council approves a conceDtual commitment to lease <br />an approximately 13.3 acre portion of the City Corpora- <br />tion Yard and directs staff to work with Pleasanton <br />Housing Group, Inc. on an agreement to this effect. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 2~, 1984 BY THE FOLLOI~II~IG VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> <br />
