A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR 2007 -08 YEAR -END FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE <br />CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP) BUDGET AND AMENDING THE FISCAL <br />YEAR 2007 -08 CIP BUDGET <br />WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Capital Improvement <br />Program is presented to Council which includes staff recommendations for budget amendments <br />and carryovers; and <br />WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report for the fiscal year ending June 30, <br />2008; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of the year -end financial review, staff made numerous <br />recommendations as outlined in that report. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1: Amend the 2007 -08 Capital Improvement Program Budget as shown in <br />Appendix A. <br />Section 2: Approve the Capital Improvement Program Budget carryovers as shown in <br />Appendix D. <br />Section 3: City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br />book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on 16 day of December, 2008. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 16 day of <br />December, 2008 by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Noes: None <br />Absent: None <br />Abstain: None <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM- <br />Michael H.
