CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-96 RESOLUTION APPROVING RELIEF FROM LARGE LOT RESTRICTIONS OF RESIDENTIAL ALLOCATION PROGRiM ~{EREAS, the Residential Allocation Program provided an exemption for 20,000 square foot lots, said exemp- tion conditioned upon a maximum limitation of ten units to be built in any calendar year per project and a maximum of forty units per year to be built in the City; and ~{EREAS, the Residential Allocation Program was subsequently repealed but the requirements of that ordinance for exempt projects remained in effect; and I~HEREAS, development of those large lot exempt projects has been slower than anticipated, with no year nearing forty units per year nor any developer aDDroaching ten units per year per project; and WHEREAS, the continuation of the ten units per project, 40 units per year city-wide restrictions no longer serve their initial purpose, said DurDose being better served by allowing market rate buildout on said projects; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the maximum of ten units per year Der project restriction for projects apDroved pursuant to the Residential Allocation Program's 20,000 square foot lot special exemption is no longer of any relevance and shall be of no further force and effect. Section 2: That the maximum of forty units to be built in the City in any calendar year in projects exempt under the old Residential Allocation Program 20,000 square foot lot sDecial exemption is no longer of any relevance and shall be of no further force and effect. Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 28, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE:
