CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-72 RESOLUTION INITIATING PREZONING OF PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON UNDER ANNEXATION NUMBER 104 AND APPROVING PRE-ANNEXATION AND PROVISION OF WATER FACILITIES AND SERVICES AGREEMENT ~@IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has directed the City staff to prepare a formal resolution requesting annexation and annexation application to LAFC0 as filed under Annexation No. 104; and WHEREAS, it is desirable to prezone properties coming into the City limits to a zoning district consistent with the General Plan so that said properties will not automatically be put into an "S" (Study) District when they are annexed; and WHEREAS, the property owners at 500 and 510 Happy Valley Road, the subject of this annexation, have asked the City if they could connect to the City's water system prior to the completion of their annexation; and WHEREAS, a Pre-Annexation and Provision of Water Facilities and Services Agreement has been Drepared to allow connection the the City's water facilities for the subject properties; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That application for prezoning to any zoning district consistent with the General Plan of the City of Pleasanton is hereby initiated for the following property: Those parcels of land commonly known as 500 and 510 Happy Valley Road, Pleasanton. Section 2: Approves the Pre-Annexation and Provision of Water Facilities and Services Agreement between the City of Pleasanton and Vincent Davis and Janet Davis for 500 Happy Valley Road, Pleasanton. Section 3: Approves the Pre-Annexation and Provision of Water Facilities and Services A~reement between the City of Pleasanton and James L. Sonne and Elaine J. Sonne for 510 Happy Valley Road, Pleasanton. Section 4: Authorizes the Mayor to execute the two above- described agreements.
