CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-62 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISIONS TO CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DESIGN GUIDE - ADDITION OF EROSION <br />AND SEDIMENT CONTROL GUIDELINES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the original Design Guide was adopted by the City <br />Council by resolution on February 10, 1964; and <br /> <br />WItEREAS, <br /> <br />from time to time it is necessary to update these <br />guidelines as engineering standards and criteria <br />change; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br />adopted the final form of the Water Quality Control <br />Plan for the San Francisco Bay Basin in October of <br />1982 and it is now necessary for the City to adopt a <br />more detailed erosion and sediment control guideline <br />in order to meet the requirements of the above plan; <br />and <br /> <br />W'HEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of February 14, 1984, the City Council <br />received the report of the Director of Public Works <br />and Utilities outlining in detail the required chan~es; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the changes in the Design Guide, Sections 1, <br /> 2, and 3, as indicated on the attached cony. <br /> <br />Section 2: Approves the addition of Section 5, Erosion and <br /> Sediment Control, to the Design Guide. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> uDOn its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 14, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None R~TL~ER,~ <br /> -~ RB <br /> 0 <br />~a~me~s R.
