Attachment 2 <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton <br /> City Grant <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 2000/01 <br /> <br />Evaluation/C riteria <br /> <br />Application Evaluation Process <br /> <br />1. Application Review/Evaluation <br /> <br />A committee of representatives from the Civic Arts, Human Services, and Youth <br />commissions will screen each application for the completeness. Accepted applications <br />will be forwarded to the appropriate Commission for review. <br /> <br />2. Public Hearing <br /> <br />Each Commission (Civic Arts, Human Services, Youth) will hold a Public Hearing. Each <br />agency must address its application before the appropriate Commission. Each <br />Commission will review and evaluate the appropriate applications, then make funding <br />recommendations to be forwarded to the City Council in one (1) combined staff report. <br /> <br />3. City Council Approval <br /> <br />The City Council will consider the funding recommendations during the City's annual <br />fiscal budget process. <br /> <br />General Review Criteria <br /> <br />Application - Applications must be complete, with all required attachments in order to be <br />considered for funding. Data sources should be identified. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />Funding Priorities - Priority will be given to those applications requesting one-time- <br />only or matching funds, and that serve a large number of Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br />Excellence of Programs and Service Quality - Quality is assessed relative to peer <br />organizations and resources within the community. Applications will be reviewed <br />considering the Pleasanton City Grant Mission Statement. <br /> <br /> <br />
