Attachment 1 <br /> <br />Objectives: <br /> <br />City of P!easanton <br /> City Grant <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 2000/01 <br /> <br />Mission Statement <br /> <br />To enhance the quality of life in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />To support those programs that provide basic human services. <br /> <br />To support programs that address youth development. <br /> <br />To support innovative and developing cultural and arts programs. <br /> <br />To support programs that promote the City, assist in maintaining <br />a sense of community and support family values. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />Funding Categories <br /> <br />Cultural/Arts <br />Cultural/Arts grants will be awarded to Pleasanton-based, nonprofit cultural <br />organizations that provide cultural events/activities/opportunities to residents. <br /> <br />Human Services <br />Human Services Grants will be awarded to nonprofit, Pleasanton-based service <br />agencies/organizations that provide basic human services to Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br />Promoting-the-City <br />Promoting-the-City Grants will be awarded to nonprofit, Pleasanton-based <br />organizations that assist in maintaining a sense of community and that support <br />family values. <br /> <br />Youth <br />Youth grants will be awarded for creative and innovative Pleasanton-based <br />projects that promote youth development for Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br /> <br />
