THE CITY OF <br /> <br />pL£ S NTON <br /> <br />[C:\TEMP\~LF20001.BMP] <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton <br /> <br />City Grant <br /> <br />Fiscal Year 2000/01 <br /> <br />Please Note: <br /> <br />Projects proposed must have start-up date within six months from the time funds <br />are allocated, and must be completed within one year; funds not obligated at the <br />end of the funding year will revert to the City, unless an extension has been <br />approved. Pleasanton City Grant funding is limited. <br /> <br />General Information <br /> <br />Applicants must have a nonprofit status and be a community-based organization <br />promoting the City, the arts, youth, or human services. <br /> <br />Applicants must quantify the total number of clients served/agency budget versus the <br />requested funds/Pleasanton residents. <br /> <br />Applicant agencies/organizations must have Pleasanton residents on the Board of <br />Directors. <br /> <br />Applicant agencies/organizations must comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the <br />Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended, and the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 which <br />bars discrimination based on race, color, national or ethnic origin, gender. age, or <br />disability. <br /> <br />5. Applicant programs/services must be accessible to the public. <br /> <br /> <br />
