CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-002 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE <br />CONCERNING TAXICAB RATES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the currein taxicab rates were adopted in 1992; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Pleasanton Police Department has completed a survey of taxicab rates in <br />Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Dublin, Livemore, San Ramon, Walnut Creek, <br />Newark, and Milpitas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has recommended adopting certain taxicab rates and amending the City's <br /> Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 92-100, to incorporate these new rates; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />The City Council adopts new taxicab rates as follows: <br /> <br />Flag Drop $2.00 <br />Mileage $2.00 <br /> <br />The City's Master Fee Schedule, Resolution No. 92~100, shall be amended to <br />incorporate the new taxicab rates stated in Section 1 as follows: <br /> <br />Police Department <br />A. Special Permits <br /> 4. Flag Drop $ 2.00 <br /> Mileage $ 2.00 <br /> Standby $20.00 <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
