CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 99-141 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING CALENDAR <br />BUDGET FOR THE PLEASANTON <br />ASSOCIATION AND APPROVAL OF AN <br />WITH THE ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />YEAR 2000 <br />DOWNTOWN <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of December 7, 1999, the City Council received a report from the <br />Director of Finance (SR 99:338) regarding the calendar year 2000 budget for the <br />Pleasanton Downtown Association; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a revised agreement was presented to <br /> Downtown Association to administer <br /> Improvement District; <br /> <br />Council which allows the Pleasanton <br />the Downtown Pleasanton Business <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br />Adopts the Pleasanton Downtown Association budget for calendar year 2000, <br />which includes direct City funding of $54,000. <br /> <br />Approves the revised agreement between the City and the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Association to administer the Downtown Pleasanton Business Improvement <br />District, a copy of which agreement is attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br />Approves transfer of $25,000 from the General Fund Contingency Fund and <br />authorizes an additional budget amendment of $21,000 to enable the City to match <br />the estimated 2000 assessment revenue generated by the businesses in the PDA. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
