CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-46 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF THE 1982-83 FISCAL YEAR AUDIT ENGAGEMENT <br /> LETTER FROM GIELOW AND LAJALA FOR THE PUBLIC <br /> FACILITIES CORPORATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to the indenture for the sale of bonds <br /> for the construction of the police building, an <br /> annual independent audit of the accounting records <br /> of the Public Facilities Corporation is required; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an audit engagement letter from Gielow and Lajala, <br /> a local firm presently doing other work for the <br /> city has been received and reviewed by the Council; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TttE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Council approves the City Manager's execution of <br /> the attached engagement letter with Gielow and <br /> Lajala for audit services for the Public Facilities <br />_ CorDoration for the fiscal year ending June 30, <br /> 1983 at a cost not to exceed $1,200. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediateIv <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED FEBRUARY 14, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ROBERT"E.
