CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />_ ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-45 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE REQUESTS FOR ANNEXATION OF <br /> AMADOR VALLEY JOINT HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT, GARY <br /> VANWEGEN, MR. AND MRS. CHARLES DAGGETT, FIR. AND <br /> MRS. HELMUT STONAWSKI, AND MR. AND MRS. LAWRENCE <br /> PIGNATARO, ALL WITH PROPERTY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF <br /> SYCAMORE ROAD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a steering coff~f~ittee from the Alisal Improvement <br /> Club has been conducting an in-depth study of <br /> possible annexation of the entire Happy Valley <br /> area to the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during the period of the study, Council has received <br /> several requests from individuals and groups for <br /> annexation of portions of the Happy Valley area <br /> which were denied pending completion of the study; <br /> and <br /> <br /> t~EREAS, the study has now been completed and was reviewed <br /> by Council at its meeting of January 24, 1984 <br /> along with recommendations by staff and testimony <br /> from the public; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The requests for annexation of LandUse (representing <br /> Amador Valley Joint High School District), Mr. Gary <br /> VanWegen, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Daggett, Mr. and <br /> Mrs. Helmut Stonawski and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence <br /> Pignataro, all with property on the north side of <br /> Sycamore Road. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None ~ <br /> ATTEST: ~ ~ <br /> z~~.
