CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 84-43 RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DEC- LARATION FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL FOR A 298 ROOM HOTEL PROPOSED FOR 7090 JOHNSON DRIVE WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 24, 1984, the City Council received a proposed mitigated negative declaration for the application of Leisure Sports, Inc., operators of the Amador Valley Athletic Club, for rezoning and development plan approval for a 298 room hotel and related facilities at 7090 Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated January 4, 1984 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to - comment on the environmental impacts of the proDosed development plan; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports; and WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff indicated that there may be significant impacts upon the environment, but that conditions of approval would render these potential impacts insignificant; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- mentary evidence presented at the Dublic hearing that there may be significant impacts on the environment, but that conditions listed in Section 1 below as mitigations render these potential impacts insignificant; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
