CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-43 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A MITIGATED NEGATIVE DEC- <br /> LARATION FOR REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL FOR A 298 ROOM HOTEL PROPOSED FOR <br /> 7090 JOHNSON DRIVE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 24, 1984, the City <br /> Council received a proposed mitigated negative <br /> declaration for the application of Leisure Sports, Inc., <br /> operators of the Amador Valley Athletic Club, for <br /> rezoning and development plan approval for a 298 <br /> room hotel and related facilities at 7090 Johnson <br /> Drive; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated January 4, 1984 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br />- comment on the environmental impacts of the proDosed <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts <br /> in accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of mitigated <br /> negative declarations and environmental impact <br /> reports; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Initial Study prepared by the City staff <br /> indicated that there may be significant impacts <br /> upon the environment, but that conditions of <br /> approval would render these potential impacts <br /> insignificant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that based upon the review <br /> of the Initial Study, and the testimony and docu- <br /> mentary evidence presented at the Dublic hearing <br /> that there may be significant impacts on the <br /> environment, but that conditions listed in Section <br /> 1 below as mitigations render these potential <br /> impacts insignificant; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
