CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> AL~DA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-33 <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE CLAIM OF JOSE FAVELA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 9, 1983, the City of Pleasantn received a <br /> claim filed on behalf of Jose Favela for injuries <br /> allegedly incurred in an accident on September 15, <br /> 1983; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 24, 1984, the City Council <br /> reviewed the claim and determined that it should be <br /> denied; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The claim presented on December 9, 1983, amainst the <br /> City of Pleasanton on behalf of Jose Favela in the <br /> sum of $91,000 is hereby denied. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediateiv <br />- upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ROBERT E.
