CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-30 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FOOTHILL RESERVOIR AND <br /> AGREEMENT WITH PRUDENTIAL INBURANCE COMPANY <br /> FOR FUNDING OF THE WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, plans and sDecifications for tank construction, <br /> piping, surface improvements around the tank site <br /> and landscaping have been prepared by Camp, Dresser <br /> and McKee, Inc. and reviewed by staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this project will be put out to bid by Prudential <br /> subject to review of bids by Camp, Dresser and <br /> McKee, Inc. and the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared providing for the <br /> funding of the above work bv Prudential Insurance <br /> Company of America; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has reviewed the report of the Director <br /> of Public Works and Utilities relating to the project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the plans and specifications for construction <br /> of Foothill Reservoir tank, site improvements, and <br /> appurtenant piping proposed by CamD, Dresser and <br /> McKee, Inc. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the execution of a Public Improvement <br /> Agreement for construction of Foothill Reservoir <br /> with the Prudential Insurance ComDany of America to <br /> cover the work aDproved above. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ~!esolution shall become effective innnediately <br /> upon its, paSsage and adoDtion. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None / <br />BvaTEST: <br /> <br /> dames R.
