CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-23 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF STREET IMPROVE~-~NTS - DEL VALLE <br /> PARKWAY AND BERNAL AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 83-10, AND <br /> APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO GRADEWAY <br /> CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Gradeway Construction, Fremont, on the the <br /> street improvements - Del Valle Parkway and Bernal <br /> Avenue, Project No. 83-10, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is aDpropriate to authorize the final Drogress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the street improvements for Del Valle <br /> Parkway and Bernal Avenue is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $2,967.84 in favor of <br /> Gradeway Construction, 43801 Osgood, Fremont in <br /> satisfaction of the final progress payment for the <br /> above-accepted work on Project No. 83-10. Ten <br /> percent (10%) of the total contract or $10,639.79 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Attorney is directed to file a Notice <br /> of Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 24, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ROB~ L~R, MAYOR <br />James R. al~k~ <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> // <br /> e~ .
