CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-22 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SOUNDWALL, SIDEWALK AND <br /> LANDSCAPING ON VALLEY AVENUE FOR CONSTRUCTION BY <br /> MORRISON HOMES <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the approval of PUD-83-18, a <br /> Long-Term Agreement was entered into with Morrison <br /> Homes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, part of that agreement was the requirement that <br /> Morrison Homes either construct the proposed <br /> soundwall on Valley Avenue or make a lump sum <br /> payment of $336,850.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time of approval of the agreement, Council <br /> did not choose which option to proceed with; 'and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 9, 1984, Council reviewed the <br /> report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> (SR 84:18) recommending that Morrison Homes construct <br />- the soundwall; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: With regard to the Long-Term Agreement dated <br /> November 22, 1983, Council selects OPtiOn 1, which <br /> calls for Morrison Homes to construct a soundwall, <br /> sidewalk and landscaping per City standards on <br /> Valley Avenue between Hopyard Road and Santa Rita <br /> Road. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Directs Morrison Homes to submit all the necessary <br /> plans and specifications for City review and <br /> approvals as soon as possible to meet the May 1, <br /> 1984 begin construction deadline. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Directs staff to bring final plans and specifications <br /> back to Council for review and apDroval. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> <br />
