CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />- ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-20 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF A DECISION OF THE <br /> DESIGN REVIEW BOARD DENYING THE NORTHWOOD HOMES <br /> COMMERCIAL PROJECT PROPOSED FOR 39 CALIFORNIA AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Northwood Homes has applied for Design Review <br /> approval to construct two warehouse buildings and <br /> a combination commercial service/office building <br /> on approximately two acres located at 39 California <br /> Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Design Review Board received a staff reDort on <br /> the application, an initial study of environmental <br /> impacts and testimony from the applicant and the <br /> public; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after consideration of all of the above, the <br /> Design Review Board determined that the application <br /> should be denied; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, within the time specified by the Ordinance Code of <br /> the City of Pleasanton, the applicant submitted an <br /> appeal to the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton; <br />' and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the <br /> City Council on January 9, 1984; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Denies the appeal of Northwood Homes of a decision <br /> of the Design Review Board denying the commercial <br /> project proposed for 39 California Avenue. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr and Wood <br /> NOES: Councilmember Mercer and Mayor Butler <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~ ' <br /> ATTEST: ~ <br /> <br /> ty <br /> <br /> P~e~ 'D. ~acDonald, Cit~ ~torney <br /> <br /> <br />
